Locks & Handles

On the GL15 glass door, locks may be fitted to three positions on the door; centre, top or bottom. The common options are centre only, or top and bottom together. The centre lock is always a patch lock, while the top and bottom locks are incorporated into patches or rails.

The central patch lock may be fitted with lever handles and latch for a single action door, while a deadlock with key access could be used on single action or double action doors.

Top and bottom locks, often fitted with keyed alike eurocylinders, may be fitted to patches or rails.

Access control systems may be linked to concealed transom shearlocks and bottom solenoid locks, both using rails.

Pull handles are available in a variety of styles, sizes and finishes. It is common to fit a pair of pull handles to both sides of the door, even for single action doors.

Escape doors may be fitted with panic bars or touch bars, normally with top and bottom latches. Outside operation devices with lever handles and key access are available.
