Kidderminster Railway Station

As part of the brand-new Kidderminster Railway station, DoorTechnik were asked to provide 3 secure steel doors for the project.

For the Railway station, both fire-rated and standard doorsets were required, alongside multiple locking options in both double door and single door variations. Due to the versatile nature of the G15 it made perfect sense to provide this door type for the project.

Our single G15 door situated next to the main ticket office is a fire rated doorset fitted with a secure code lock for staff access. For this particular door we were asked to include two door viewers of specified heights, this was requested in order to make the feature more easily usable for all staff. This doorset also features an overhead closer which enhances both fire safety and overall security.

To the side and back of the main building we have installed single and double G15 doorsets with standard black lever handles as per the customers requested specifications. The single door has a door viewer as part of its requested specification and the double door is a fire rated doorset. All three doors on this location feature quite different furniture and require different specifications for fire rated and non fire rated purposes. The G15 is able to cope with many requirements making it a versatile and popular choice.
