Working with local authorities, we were asked to provide contactless payment systems for their existing U15 Ultimate toilet doors. A solution has now been developed to retro-fit UCL contactless payment modules to any DoorTechnik U15 Ultimate or UL15 Ultimate Lite toilet door on site.

UCL module, with optional RADAR lock

The UCL module includes a Nayax reader, which accepts payment by contactless credit and debit cards, and mobile payment by NFC or QR codes. An optional RADAR or National Key Scheme (NKS) lock may be fitted, which offers disabled people independent access to locked public toilets.

Entry by coins, contactless payment, or RADAR key

When fitted to a U15 or UL15 toilet door, the UCL module may be used in conjunction with the existing coin mechanism, or may replace it entirely. The Nayax reader contains a roaming SIM card, enabling it to operate in most areas of the country. The associated customer portal allows remote access to usage data, and and some control functions.
