Fire resistant glass doors for Heathrow Airport

As part of the development of the Personal Shopper area at Heathrow Airport by Thomas Interiors, we recently manufactured and installed an SG20 fire resistant glass door and decorative screens to the shop frontage.

Supplied to us by Vetrotech Saint-Gobain, the glass on this project is visually striking, with a graceful pattern flowing across the door and screens. The glass is laminated and toughened, with a patterned interlayer.

The pattern and glass construction differs between the door and side screens. The door glass is mostly clear, with an opaque patterned interlayer. The side screen glass is mostly opaque, but with clear slots to show the mirrored backing.
